Welcome to the website of REWI - Reigate Evening WI

Reigate Evening WI is now five years old and we are going from strength to strength with a membership capacity of 110 with ages spanning more than 60 years. We meet at Reigate Community Centre on the second Wednesday of the month 7.45pm - 9.45pm.

Take a look at what we get up to!  Our aim is to inspire and be inspired whilst having fun and staying young and making new friends along the way!

We are an active, lively WI with members enjoying trips to theatres, exhibitions, gardens and a variety of different places of interest.  Our activities are led by members and are designed to attract and involve the varying ages and interests of us all.

The monthly meetings are very varied and as you will see we have a good selection of guest speakers and social evenings.  The individual groups which meet regularly include book discussion, walking, mini bridge, wine appreciation, craft, gardening, poetry appreciation, play reading, sewing, French conversation, local history and art appreciation.  Coffee mornings, lunch clubs and evening meals are also very popular.  Members voted in February for our new annual charity and decided to divide our fundraising for 2017/18 between East Surrey Domestic Abuse Service and DeCaf, a dementia café which is part of the local Live at Home Scheme.
